Main features

  • UV-Gelled Shadow-Area Encapsulation
  • Fast 15-Minute Handling
  • Soft Shore A30 Encapsulation

Product Description

HumiSeal 2UV11 combines UV gelation with a secondary two-component reaction for shadowed areas in electronic potting and encapsulation. The 1:1 urethane/acrylate system pairs typical viscosities of 8,000 cP for Part A and 7,000 cP for Part B. It gels with UV exposure or after 7 minutes in shadow and reaches handling condition in 15 minutes. Typical full cure is 24 hours at room temperature, with cure time dependent on volume or mix ratio. The cured clear encapsulant has a soft Shore A30 hardness and a typical operating-temperature range of -50 to 110 deg C.

Key features

  • UV gelation: The system gels with UV exposure.
  • Shadow-area reaction: A secondary two-component reaction continues cure in shadowed areas.
  • Soft cured material: The clear cured encapsulant has Shore A30 hardness.
